SUNDAY WALK IN NYC

  It doesn't matter what day of the week you're in NYC, you can bet your ass while you're there you will be entertained just by taking a stroll. I take my camera and begin my walk where my goal is usually to discover hidden street art gems spread out primarily throughout downtown Manhattan.

 During my journey I had the chance to capture a small protest against Russia's invasion in the Ukraine at Union Square.

THE BUSHWICK COLLECTIVE : OUTDOOR GALLERY

Brooklyn,Ny once again keeps me going back! First Williamsburg and now Bushwick, which is the neighborhood to the North of Williamsburg. Bushwick is home to an outdoor streetart gallery called "The Bushwick Collective". Joseph Ficalora, a longtime neighborhood resident, curates the vast outdoor art gallery.
The outdoor street art gallery is centered on Troutman Street near the Jefferson L train stop. Once here, get your camera ready and snap away. The art on the walls, graffiti, wheatpaste posters, slaps, stickers, tags, and stencils will keep you snappin away for about an hour or 2. If you're into street photography and like to explore and get lost with your camera, this is the place!

ABANDONED MIAMI MARINE STADIUM

The Miami Marine Stadium is a marine stadium on Virginia Key, Miami, Florida, United States. The facility, built and completed in 1963 on land donated to the City of Miami from the Matheson family, is the first stadium purpose-built for powerboat racing in the United States. In the wake of Hurricane Andrew, it was declared an unsafe building under Miami-Dade County building code on September 18, 1992.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Miami_Marine_Stadium

  On our trip back to Florida this was one of my "I HAVE TO GO TO" spot to add to my collection of GRAFFITI/STREETART Photography, which I will soon add to my online portfolio epokxjstylist.carbonmade.com. Thanks to my sister and her boyfriend for the company and ride to this amazing abandoned graffiti mecca thats off the Rickenbacker Causeway on the way to Key Biscayne, its like South Miami's 5 Points.The abandoned element creates that eerie feel and yet peace that allows you to explore around and appreciate the art and tags that cover this facility from bottom to top. As I also love history, I couldn't help but think about the life and energy that once engulfed this stadium from the 60's to the 90's. As you scroll through the pictures I found 2 old pics of the stadium during its time of use in the 60's. Heres a combination of pictures my wife Jstylist and I took with our Nikon D3200 and Galaxy 5S.
