THE BOOGIE DOWN BRONX! HOME AND BIRTHPLACE OF HIP HOP. Also home to some of the original DJ's, Breakers and Graffiti Writers that sparked a worldwide revolution in Urban Art,Dance, and Music. When I found out that there was an Open Graffiti Art Gallery in the BX, I had to go and support this! Hosted and Directed By World Known Writers Scratch and LadyK Fever, The Bronx Graffiti Art Gallery is in its beginning stages of becoming something much more grand.
The history of this art form is so rich in the Bronx dating back to the early 70's, its great to have this open to the public ( Through Appointment Only). A lot of the writers that were invited to bless these walls from KING BEE, CES, TRIKE ONE, TATSCRU, BG183, BIO, and NICER are the many gifted artists that grew up in NYC and help evolve this artwork that's now selling in galleries worldwide.

Located in 1715 West Farms Rd Bronx,NY at the Courtyard of Gustiamos an importer and distributor of authentic Italian foods. They allowed this to become a reality by providing their space and allowing the artists to showcase their work. The Bronx has rarely ever been shown love and/or much tourist traffic and attention. People and photographers currently look for ' Street Art' in downtown Manhattan and Brooklyn, especially since 5PTZ in Queens no longer exists. So for Gustiamos to allow this on their property is a true gift for fans worldwide. Hopefully from here people can visit the Bronx and appreciate its rich history in urban culture and art.
